Short version: PixlBind is a fully on-device tool suite. We do not collect, transmit, store or sell your data in any form. Your files, images, PDFs, and passwords never leave your browser.
1. Information We Collect
PixlBind does not collect any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifier. There are no user accounts and no registration is required to use any tool.
When you use PixlBind tools, all file processing happens entirely within your browser using JavaScript Web APIs (Canvas API, FileReader API, pdf-lib, jsPDF). Your files are loaded into browser memory, processed, and immediately available for download — no data is ever sent to a server.
2. Files & Documents
Any images, PDFs, or other files you use with PixlBind tools are handled exclusively in your local browser environment. Specifically:
- Files are read using the browser FileReader API into temporary memory
- Processing (compression, PDF creation, protection, merging) occurs client-side
- Output files are generated as Blob URLs in your browser
- All data is cleared from memory when you close or refresh the tab
- No file, image, PDF, or document is ever transmitted to PixlBind servers
3. Passwords & Encryption
When you use the PDF Protector tool and enter a password, that password is used only within your browser to encrypt your PDF using the pdf-lib library. The password is never logged, stored, transmitted, or accessible to PixlBind or any third party. If you forget the password you set, there is no recovery method — always keep a copy of your original unprotected file.
4. Cookies & Analytics
PixlBind does not use cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any other analytics or tracking software. No information about your usage, click behaviour, session duration, or file types is collected or transmitted.
5. Third-Party Services
The only external resources loaded by PixlBind are:
- Google Fonts — Syne and Space Mono typefaces loaded from Google Fonts CDN. Google may log this font request according to their own privacy policy. No file content is involved.
- pdf-lib & jsPDF CDNs — JavaScript libraries loaded from unpkg, jsDelivr, or Cloudflare CDN for PDF tools. These are static script files; no user data is sent to these CDNs.
We have no advertising relationships. PixlBind does not serve ads and does not allow third-party advertisers to embed tracking scripts.
6. Local Storage & Browser Data
PixlBind does not write to localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or any other persistent browser storage. Your theme preference (dark/light mode) is stored in memory only for your current session and is reset when you close the browser tab.
7. Children's Privacy
PixlBind does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it collects no information from anyone at all. The service is safe for all ages.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this page. Continued use of PixlBind after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
