PixlBind is a free, browser-based suite of file tools including an image compressor, PDF maker, PDF protector, and PDF merger. All tools operate entirely within your browser — no server processing, no accounts, no fees. These tools are provided as a free public service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PixlBind tools, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our tools. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time — the "Last updated" date will reflect any changes.

8. PDF Encryption Notice

The PDF Protector tool applies password protection using the pdf-lib library in your browser. While pdf-lib implements standard PDF encryption, browser-based encryption may not provide the same level of security as dedicated desktop applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro or Ghostscript with hardware acceleration. For documents requiring the highest level of security, we recommend using professional desktop tools.

9. Intellectual Property

The PixlBind name, logo, design, and source code are the intellectual property of their respective creators. The fonts used (Syne, Space Mono) are licensed under the SIL Open Font License. Third-party libraries (pdf-lib, jsPDF) are used under their respective open-source licenses (MIT License).

You may not use the PixlBind name, logo, or branding to misrepresent the origin of any product or service.

10. Modifications & Discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue PixlBind tools at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuation of service.

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. PixlBind makes no representation that the tools are appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions.
